The Hive5 Process: At Hive, we have a bit of a unique process for our candidates that results in much more meaningful engagement with potential employers. All Hive candidates are required to complete our "career center in the cloud" training - the Hive 5 Process, which focuses on personal and professional development. learning about innovative pathways to careers, and of course, the important of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
🌟 The sweetest part of the process is that at the end, you will have created the first version of your new, perfectly-formatted resume through our free and patented resume technology.
Patented Resume Tech: In Level 1, you'll create your Hive resume. While we often get questions about "How can I upload my resume," we don't currently offer an upload option for the following reasons.
- 💻 Free Resume Database for All Applications (Your Data By Design): Once you complete your Hive resume, you'll have access to our free technology which will help you select certain components of your profile to create a perfectly formatted resume for different applications, in and out of Hive. hellohive is a first-of-its-kind database of content that users can toggle items off and on to more easily create a version of yourself specific to who you are sending to - not just opportunities but people for networking as well. No more “save as” on hundreds of documents and never really knowing which resume you sent to someone.
- 📝 Our Format: Our partners prefer our format because it helps you communicate more about who you are as a person and professional while at the same time mitigating potential biases in what resumes look like - focusing more on what they say.
- 💫 Resumes for Early College Students: Technology that empowers users to include traditional and reimagined relevant experience, and to write about the WHAT and the WHY so that hiring managers and other resume recipients get one page that tells the whole story - of a person and professional.
- 🤖 ATS Compatibility: Not all resume templates are made equal; our partners often use ATS systems (applicant tracking systems) as part of their hiring process. Certain resume formats, templates, and design elements can prevent a resume's content from being integrated and accepted into the ATS system, meaning your important info can get lost in transit. We handle all formatting so that users can reallocate their time to their content and share their story. *All Hive resumes are ATS-compatible!

- 🟰 Evening the Playing Field with Hiring Managers: Having one format of a resume that focuses more on content and showcases both personal and professional qualifications and experiences helps hiring managers more equitably review high volumes of resumes.
Once you create your Hive resume you'll be able to use our technology for all applications in and out of Hive going forward and easily edit in your "profile" section of the platform.
