Hive is growing, and we're excited to help you grow your skills and network through free virtual events with our 70+ finance and tech partners like Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, Accenture, and more, offering valuable career growth events this fall and internships for Summer 2024 starting this spring. 🐝
The rules are simple: Spread the buzz and encourage your friends to create Hive profiles so that they can attend these impactful events and secure these exciting opportunities!
Contest Rules
The rules are simple: encourage as many students to sign up for hellohive as possible and increase your chances win a $500 Visa gift card!
⏰ The contest will only run until November 15, 2023!
Contest Prizes
- 1st Prize: $500 Visa gift card
- 2nd Prize: $100 Visa gift card
- 3rd Prize: $50 Visa gift card
Eligibility
Any current Hive registered student can participate (must have an active Hive profile).
- Create a Hive profile & fill out the form on this landing page with all of the required information = 1 entry
- Attend one event yourself = 1 entry
- Get a friend to complete a Hive profile and put your name in the referral section = 1 entry
- More sign-ups = more chances to win! Each person can have unlimited sign-ups and entries.
- Sign-ups must be students at 4-year, US-based universities with valid email addresses
- The student must list you as their registration "source" (see below) for it to count as a sign-up in your name.
Getting Credit for Registrations
- Have your friends register for hellohive!
- When they register, have them select “Referred by a Friend” from the dropdown as their “How did you hear about us" field response and enter your name in the “Additional Details” field below.

Here are some ideas for getting the word out:
- Social media: Share the contest on your social media platforms!
- Orgs: Drop the Sign-Up link into your student orgs/greek org group chats or email it out to your friends in other orgs.
- Classes: Talk to other students in your business and finance classes!
- Campus Flyers: Post flyers or QR codes in dorms, classrooms, bathrooms, dining halls, and anywhere else that has good foot traffic. (Make sure to get appropriate permissions first)
- RAs/Residence Advisors: Chat with RAs about putting a flier in your dorm or emailing it out to your floor.
- Content Creation: Share a video on your socials expressing why students should apply for the hive!
- Table on Campus: Set up a spot on campus to spread the buzz on Hive
- AirDrop Party: Get a QR code from us that leads to the sign-up page and drop it to every student you know

Full Contest Rules
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
This contest is governed by these official rules (“Official Rules”). By participating in the contest, each entrant agrees to abide by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and understands that the results of the contest, as determined by Sponsor and its agents, are final in all respects. The contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, (wherever we post this).
ELIGIBILITY
The contest is open to legal residents of their respective countries where not prohibited by law, who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry who are a current Hive registered student, refers 1 new individual who registers for the Hive platform prior to the beginning of the contest period. Hive has the right to verify the eligibility of each entrant.
CONTEST PERIOD
The contest ends on November 15th 2023, midnight EST. Winner will be announced on or around December 1st, 2023. All entries (referrals) must be received on or before the time stated during that submission period. Hive reserves the right to extend or shorten the contest at their sole discretion.
HOW TO ENTER
You can enter the contest by having a sophomore (*See Eligibility*) register on the Hive app (https://app.hellohive.com/register/basic-information). When signing up, the referee must enter your name and your school under “How did you hear about us?” and “Other Source” and type in your name for entry to count. 1 person = 1 referral; this is worth 1 entry to the contest. Since entries are based on the number of referrals, you may enter as many times as you wish.
WINNER SELECTION
All eligible entries received during the Submission Period will be gathered into a database at the end of the Submission Period. A winner will be chosen at random.
The winners will be announced on or about December 1st, 2023 on or about noon EST. Announcement and instructions for the prize will be sent to the e-mail address supplied on the Hive account. Each entrant is responsible for monitoring their email account for prize notification and receipt or other communications related to this contest. If a potential prize winner cannot be reached by Hive team within fifteen (15) days, using the contact information provided at the time of entry, or if the prize is returned as undeliverable, that potential prize winner shall forfeit the prize. Prizes may not be awarded if an insufficient number of eligible entries are received.
PRIZES
Grand Prize: $500 Visa gift card. 2nd Prize: $100 Visa gift card. 3rd Prize: $50 Visa gift card. Terms and conditions may apply. Incidental expenses and all other costs and expenses which are not specifically listed as part of a prize in these Official Rules and which may be associated with the award, acceptance, receipt and use of all or any portion of the awarded prize are solely the responsibility of the respective prize winner. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE IS SOLELY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.

Prize is non-transferable. No substitution or cash equivalent of prizes is permitted. Sponsor and its respective parent, affiliate and subsidiary companies, agents, and representatives are not responsible for any typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of the Sweepstakes, including, but not limited to, errors in any printing or posting or these Official Rules, the selection and announcement of any winner, or the distribution of any prize. Any attempt to damage the content or operation of this Sweepstakes is unlawful and subject to possible legal action by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, suspend or amend the Sweepstakes, without notice, and for any reason, including, without limitation, if Sponsor determines that the Sweepstakes cannot be conducted as planned or should a virus, bug, tampering or unauthorized intervention, technical failure or other cause beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the Sweepstakes. In the event any tampering or unauthorized intervention may have occurred, Sponsor reserves the right to void suspect entries at issue.
